Mr. J

As it it wasn't nerve-wracking enough when you are doing photos for a great friend, mom wanted to do these first thing in the morning, which I have never done (I usually shoot around 2 hours or so from sunset).  It was overcast and absolutely near perfect conditions, so that took some of the pressure off! ;-)  In Campbell's little group of friends, J reminds me of that He-Man character (channeling the 80's), "Man-E-Faces".  He has the greatest expressions...many of which we caught on film.  We also did some doctor shots for Dad for fathers day! Hope you enjoy these. Can't wait for you to see the whole slideshow!!

D Family!

This sweet little family is expecting a little girl in a few weeks!! Mom wanted to get do some maternity shots, and a few of the soon to be big brother! What an adorable and well behaved boy! Mom and Dad, you behaved well too ;-)  I hope you like your sneak preview of some of my favorites.  Thanks for giving me this opportunity! I lovvvvvvve maternity photos.  As you can see, mom had then MOST pristine pregnant belly I have ever seen, which she only revealed at the end.  Good thing, because there would have been a ton more bare belly shots if I had my way!!! Hope they think of me for newborn pictures :-)

M Sisters!!!

Loved these sisters! They were adorable. So cooperative. Although I love shooting babies and toddlers, its always a welcome change to photograph older children, since they actually understand what we are there to do!! Mom wanted some individual shots, sister shots, and Communion pictures for A (these were my favorite--she looked like an angel!)  Hope you enjoy !!!

B Family - Mega Shoot!

Mom came to me through a referral from a neighbor. Its always great to see some referrals come in! Thanks to the M Family for referring this beautiful family!  The primary purpose of the shoot was to get a head shot of the little princess L for a pageant, but Mom wanted to do the whole family as well. As hard as it is to get 6 people looking at the camera at once, especially with 2 babies, they did it with grace, and were easy on my camera!!! Hope they enjoy this sneak peek!

S Squared - Mother and Daughter Session!

I have to admit I was really nervous to do a shoot for a close friend. You just want it to be perfect. But as much as photography is a science, it is more an art, and each time we shoot, we have to accept that. Luckily for me, the artistic part is the easy part. Science and weather cooperated on this shoot for the most part! Enough of the philosophizing!   I was sooo glad that S moved here from Hawaii. I wish I lived in HI right now. Again I digress.  She has been an amazing friend and little S is Campbell's best girlfriend. They are two peas in a pod.  Hopefully I captured their spirits and love in these pictures. If I didn't I know she will hold me to it. HA!! Enjoy the sneak peek!!

M Family!

What a treasure we found in this meadow (or field of weeds)!   A large cloud went over the sun just as the session started, and once we got L to look at the camera instead of the flowers, I think we got some good shots. Here are some of my favorites.  I should have taken a picture of my feet and the thousand red ant bites I got to post on the blog but that would portray me as "dumb yankee" for wearing my flip flops in a field of sand and weeds....not to mention I really need a pedicure BADLY! ;-)  Hope you enjoy this sneak peek of some of my favorites!

L & L Prom - Part II

This couple for sure has luck on their side as far as weather and lighting go!  Near perfect conditions most of the time. I was impressed by his willingness to do the pink accessories with the tux, I could never get a date to do that!!!! They both looked dynamite, and good luck to both of you in the future!!
