J and K

Went up to North Carolina for a few days this weekend to visit with family. Gus' sister was in town and wanted to do pictures of the kids. So exciting obviously because they are my niece and nephew, but also to see Campbell have the time of her life with them and her other cousin E, as they always do!! Here is a sneak peek of some shots!

Priceless Moments

I never thought I would really post a blog of my own child or family pics. But this I just have to! C went to play with her little friend S tonight while I was supposeeeeeed to be doing a shoot that got canceled. When I pulled in the driveway to pick her up I noticed a ton on dandelions on their neighbors lawn (no one lives there) and I wanted to teach C how to blow the seeds off of them! So the girls got to it. C could not put out a forceful enough blow to do it that well (so I just took some close ups of her) and these turned out to be some of my favorite pics of all time! S did a great job! Here are some faves

Baby Sammy- First Newborn Session!

A dear friend of mine and Campbell's godmother just had a beautiful baby girl! I was glad to extend my NY stay to ensure that we would get to see her. Of course C was enthralled with a new baby. As friends do, we spent most of our time talking and eating as the baby was sleeping. By the time we took the camera out, H was waking up, and was hungry!!!! oh no! So we did get just a few shots. However, miss Maddy was loving the velvet throw and the spotlight!

Phoebe the Wondermutt

What a precious little soul. Golden-doodles are just too cute, this family is lucky I didn't pack her in my luggage and take her home! That's all we need at the Fennell house. I think 3 dogs is definitely might be a crowd! We took lots of shots of Phoebe she was so cooperative and her owners were willing participants. So much fun. Enjoy!

Maggie May

Ok, so this was SUPPOSED to be a total disaster I was told by the owners! "this dog will not sit still, she is wild! She jumps on everyone, keep Campbell in the house!" My patented high pitch howl is all it took to grab her attention, and all I had to do was keep from laughing at her face and enjoy perfect lighting. Photography doesn't get better than this. I will be wishing for the rest of my life I could recreate these conditions! What a beautiful lady!

Romeo & Juliet

Anyone knows me, knows I am a sucker for puppies and dogs. Can't get enough of them. This brother and sister are only 5 months old, and they were every bit of puppy. Springing up and down and not sitting still for anything! Finally we got the idea to put them either on something high up so they had no choice to be relatively still OR contain them! Voila! Enjoy these precious babies, hopefully their Mom and Dad will!

T- Mr. Personality

We are back from a long stay in NY where we had several sessions. This little guy was a blast to take pictures of! The only thing working against us in this shoot was the weather. High winds and 40 degree temps. Luckily, T didn't seemed fazed by the weather, just us Yankees that have moved down south! We even worked in some Star Wars shots, his passion. What a great age! Cooperative and willing and this handsome boy was working the camera like a pro :-)
