P Girls

We have had the pleasuring of knowing this family since we moved to Columbia two years ago (can't believe its been that long already). Campbell just loves these girls, and they are great role models for her, not to mention good friends and babysitters too!  It has been a long time since I have photographed anyone over age 5, and though I love babies and toddlers, what a pleasure to have willing and cooperative participants.  Hope they enjoy this sneak peek!

3 Families, Looking for one good shot!

Having 6 people and two toddlers all look at the camera and smile pretty is like trying to find a Zhu Zhu pet in Walmart on Black Friday. Near Impossible.  However, since everyone in this family looks great on film, I think we came as close as we can get to "perfection".  Guys, keep in mind these can be edited (Black and White, cropped, etc.)

Little Miss E and Family

What a joyful little baby. This is little J's cousin...she was a joy to photograph with her big brown eyes. They twinkle in every shot. I love babies eyes, so pure!!!  Thanks for visiting allowing me to photograph you all! Hope to see you again soon ;-)

K Family

This gorgeous family shines!

Cute Christmas Cousins!

WOW! Another great session with two really photogenic kids! Mr. J is a good friend of Campbell and his cousin E was visiting with family from Atlanta for Thanksgiving! This blog is just the cousins, and the ones following it will be family shots!  I had to split these up since there are so many!

H Family

This was a great session! Love it when the parents take an active role in sessions...Great color choices, and they suggested to go downtown Columbia to the Capitol building, which I have not taken pictures there before.  We were pleasantly surprised by the giant Christmas tree with gifts that we could utilize! Of course, as we suspected, trying to get all 4 kids looking at the camera at the same time was no easy feat, but I think we got some good shots. Here are some of my favorites.

Zoommedia's Namesake

Snapped this shot of Campbell (Zoom) on Thanksgiving and wanted to post it.  She loves to emulate Momma, and takes pictures (and damn good ones at that) all the time, and bosses around her subjects far better than I can! I am thinking of hiring her as an assistant. (absent child labor laws?) There is for sure nothing I am more thankful for in the world than this little girl. She is an inspiration to me and full of spirit and zest for life.  So, on this Thanksgiving, and always, I am thankful for my Zoom (my baby, not my lens ;-)) who was the very reason I decided to start this photography venture!

Ani's Christmas Shoot

Ani is one of Campbell's baby friends that she is so fond of! You may remember her from another blog with the beautiful pink and green silk dress this summer.  We had set out with tons of creativity in mind, with new puppy in tow and some costume changes...but we ended up with muddy leggings! So Part II will hopefully be with Elfie the Wonderpup.  Hope there are some good Christmas card choices in here!  This is a preview!

R Boys- Christmas Pics!

We took advantage of this beautiful day to go back to the last location for these two brothers, who are Campbell's favorite friends to play with!  I decided to dress C up and take a few shots of her as well. Here are a couple of my favorites!

Mr. J - Christmas Shoot

WOW! is all I can say. This is one of my favorite sessions to date. I think Mom and Dad are going to have a tough time choosing a Christmas card shot!  I had a ton of fun doing this session. J was so cooperative and willing and gave great smiles and even some serious poses!!  His dad is our vet who takes wonderful care of our two doggies, and I was honored to be able to take these pictures of his handsome boy! I am having a hard time narrowing down my favorites for the blog. Can't post 10 pictures! Enjoy your sneak peek!

R Boys!

These two cuties arrived in their Santa outfits ready to go. But as brothers do, they wanted no part of the lovey dovey togetherness! ha! We got tons of great shots of the boys by themselves, but when it came time to add
1 21/2 year old and one new walker, it was really tough!!  Hope Mom and Dad still enjoy the pics.  Love N's expressions, even though we couldn't get a smile out of him, he sure does have a beautiful serious face!  Here is a preview!

E & L - Holiday Shots

It was a classic SC holiday shoot. Mom had a great idea to do the summery clothes for Christmas shots and they came out great.  This was my first holiday session, and it was inspiring. This brother and sister were a dream, so cooperative and we got some great shots. I think Mom and Dad are going to have a tough time picking out a card shot!  Is there any wonder why I do multiple photo cards? Too hard to pick just one!! Enjoy this sneak peek!

Christmas Yorkies!

These adorable pups were so cooperative and willing to let us torture them.  The momma is so creative and crafty and we had alot of fun playing with their costumes :-) I think there are plenty of good shots in the bunch and will hopefully make some great holiday cards!
