Hey everyone,
I don't usually post non-session updates much on here, but as we are embarking on 2010, I figure I would post a news update!
First off, I would like to thank a handful of people that have helped make this hobby of mine a business! My husband who with immense encouragement, and capital offerings in the form of the Canon 50D, really catapulted Zoommedia into action! Also, my friend and fellow photographer Danielle Hobbs, who was an inspiration being a stay at home mom with 3 boys and creating a super photography business. Thanks for your advice and wisdom! Last but certainly not least, my daughter, Campbell. She tirelessly and gracefully puts up with me snapping thousands of frames, both for practice and of course to get that perfect shot of your own child that brings tears to your eyes.
For 2010, there will be a couple of changes. Firstly, session price will now be $50. Those that have already booked 2010 sessions, I will honor the $40 price. Also, I will be using an additional higher end photo lab in addition to the one I have used in 2009. I love the one I currently use, however, the new lab will add TONS more product offerings, and higher quality prints. With this change, you will see two different print prices in the gallery. (1) Standard (2) Premium. This will account for the increase in price on "premium" prints.
Finally, my new lab has an AWESOME product that if affordable and I would like to introduce as a last minute holiday option, or going forward, an add-on to session print orders. (DRUM ROLL PLEASE)

UPDATE: Thank you, price changes, and new product offerings
N Family
Wishing we had more time for this shoot! They were cooperative, willing and tons of fun! Mom had great ideas and was open to doing some more candid stuff. Hope we have a good card shot in here for you! Here are my favorites. The rest are uploading to my website now. Enjoy! P.S. Keep in mind, any of the pics can be black and white or color!
R Family - Holiday Session
This little beauty is one of Campbell's best friends. We are so glad they moved to Columbia and are tons of fun to hang out with! These holiday sessions are alot of fun but they make it very difficult on people to narrow it down to one or two pictures!!! I think this will be hard to choose as well. I am having trouble! Here are my favorites
P Girls
We have had the pleasuring of knowing this family since we moved to Columbia two years ago (can't believe its been that long already). Campbell just loves these girls, and they are great role models for her, not to mention good friends and babysitters too! It has been a long time since I have photographed anyone over age 5, and though I love babies and toddlers, what a pleasure to have willing and cooperative participants. Hope they enjoy this sneak peek!
3 Families, Looking for one good shot!
Little Miss E and Family
Cute Christmas Cousins!
WOW! Another great session with two really photogenic kids! Mr. J is a good friend of Campbell and his cousin E was visiting with family from Atlanta for Thanksgiving! This blog is just the cousins, and the ones following it will be family shots! I had to split these up since there are so many!
H Family
Zoommedia's Namesake
Ani's Christmas Shoot
Ani is one of Campbell's baby friends that she is so fond of! You may remember her from another blog with the beautiful pink and green silk dress this summer. We had set out with tons of creativity in mind, with new puppy in tow and some costume changes...but we ended up with muddy leggings! So Part II will hopefully be with Elfie the Wonderpup. Hope there are some good Christmas card choices in here! This is a preview!
R Boys- Christmas Pics!
We took advantage of this beautiful day to go back to the last location for these two brothers, who are Campbell's favorite friends to play with! I decided to dress C up and take a few shots of her as well. Here are a couple of my favorites!
Mr. J - Christmas Shoot
R Boys!
These two cuties arrived in their Santa outfits ready to go. But as brothers do, they wanted no part of the lovey dovey togetherness! ha! We got tons of great shots of the boys by themselves, but when it came time to add
1 21/2 year old and one new walker, it was really tough!! Hope Mom and Dad still enjoy the pics. Love N's expressions, even though we couldn't get a smile out of him, he sure does have a beautiful serious face! Here is a preview!
E & L - Holiday Shots
It was a classic SC holiday shoot. Mom had a great idea to do the summery clothes for Christmas shots and they came out great. This was my first holiday session, and it was inspiring. This brother and sister were a dream, so cooperative and we got some great shots. I think Mom and Dad are going to have a tough time picking out a card shot! Is there any wonder why I do multiple photo cards? Too hard to pick just one!! Enjoy this sneak peek!
